Who It's For
Women in our community are at very different places with AI. Some use it every day at work. Some have tried ChatGPT but aren't sure they're getting much from it. Others know they need to learn it but don't know where to begin. This summit is built to meet you wherever you are, with no tech background needed.
How the Day Works
This isn't a conference where you sit and listen to people talk about AI. The theme is learn something, try something, apply something.
- The morning opens with a welcome keynote on AI and ethics.
- Then you rotate through three small, hands-on 50-minute sessions, with no more than 20 women per room.
- You can take all three workshops, or swap one for the AI Lab, where volunteer AI Guides help you experiment with your own questions for work and life.
The goal is that you leave with at least two AI skills you can use that same week, and at least two new connections in the WOTS community.

What We'll Cover in "Getting Found in AI Search"
More people are skipping Google and asking ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity directly: "who's a good accountant near me?" or "what's the best yoga studio in Summit County?" When they do, AI names specific businesses, and most owners have no idea whether they're one of them.
In 50 minutes, we'll cover three things:
- How AI search actually works, and why it's different from Google. (Short version: optimizing for SEO isn't the same as optimizing for AI.)
- A live check. You'll pull out your phone or laptop and ask an AI assistant about your own business and industry, right there in the room, and see whether you come up.
- The fixes. Simple, specific steps you can start the same week if AI doesn't know you exist yet.
You'll leave knowing how to check whether AI recommends your business, and exactly what to do first if it doesn't. If you can, set up a free ChatGPT or Claude account before you arrive so you can jump straight into the live check.
Can't Make It?
You can still find out how your business shows up. My free SEO and AI visibility audit runs the same kind of checks across six AI platforms and Google, and gives you a score and your top 3 fixes.
Thank you to Women of the Summit for organizing the day, and to corporate sponsor Hotel Alpenrock Breckenridge. I hope to see you there.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to know anything about AI to attend?
No. The summit is designed for every comfort level, from women who use AI daily to those who haven't started yet.
What should I bring?
A laptop. For my session, a phone works too, and it helps to set up a free ChatGPT or Claude account beforehand.
How much are tickets?
$25 for Women of the Summit members and $50 for non-members, plus a small ticket service fee.
Is "Getting Found in AI Search" only for business owners?
It's most useful if you own or market a business, but anyone curious about how AI decides what to recommend will get something out of it.
